Veterans Memorial Park: 68 Ashland Street in Jewett City



Veterans Memorial Park is located on Ashland Street in Jewett City. Right besides our offices here at the Griswold Youth Center. GPS our building for great parking. This park host the majority of our Park & Recreation Department's Town Events. With a walking track, benches as well as a beautiful view of the Ashland Pond's waterfall... many residents visit this location routinely.

Jewett City Skate Park: Hill/Wilson Street in Jewett City


Built in 2009, by the "Heart of Griswold: Project" grant approved by CT DEEP. We updated our skate park with concrete jumps and events as well as removed all old loud metal ramps. Visited by hundreds of kids each year, this park is the most utilized location within the entire Town of Griswold, located in the Borough of Jewett City.

 

All skaters must obey the rules as well as apply and receive a "Skate Park Pass."

Maria & Pasquale Camputaro Memorial Field: 211 Sheldon Road in Griswold


August of 2014, the Sheldon Road located park will open to the public permanently by hosting our local non-profit sport organizations, Griswold Soccer Club, Griswold Football Club and Jewett City Little League. With a waterfront nature trail, fishing areas, a football/soccer field and practice field complete with baseball backstops... this is at true town asset that will host hundred of youth each year.

 

Did You Know? There are Great Fishing Spots Found Along the Nature Trail!



Game Field is ONLY to be used by Griswold Soccer Club, Griswold Football Club & Jewett City Little League

(No other organizations are allowed to use the field.)
